The weather is starting to heat up, but there’s nothing hotter than a couple of brass bands to kick off the 2013 Wednesdays on the Point summer concert series in Algiers Point.
The series has a permanent location by the courthouse and ferry landing now and starts the year off tomorrow with the Lagniappe Brass Band and Brass-a-holics performing. All shows start at 6pm and are free – just bring a few bucks to support the vendors and your lawn chairs to rest in between dances!
